The top live video is of a South Indian teacher showing his students the tricks to write english in a cursive. At the moment of writing the article, the video had over 9.2 million views, and over 285,000 likes. Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha went live earlier in 2016 when she reached 21 million followers on Facebook, that video became the second most popular live video, with currently over 6.9 million views and 573,000 likes. Also made to the list were live videos by Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol Devgn, an Aaj Tak video on Kapil Sharma questioning Narendra Modi, among others.
