iOS 11

One of the big announcements expected at WWDC 2017 will be the next iteration of Apple’s mobile operating system — iOS 11. According to reports, iOS 11 will be getting a ton of new features including intelligent power saving tech, which would allow devices to automatically switch to low power mode as soon as the battery goes below 20 percent. Apart from this, a revamped version of Apple Music is also expected. It’s also possible that Apple will launch the Shark Tank-like “Planet of the Apps” and the James Corden-spinoff “Carpool Karaoke, which is company s video project in development. Apple Wallet is expected to get a revamp and it is expected to relaunch as Pay app which will come with iMessage integration allowing users to transfer funds via the messaging app. According to a report from Business Insider, Apple is trying to make Siri sound more human. Lastly, we can even expect the long-rumored dark mode to be finally introduced with iOS. RELATED: iOS 11: 11 features we wish Apple introduces with its next OS update

WatchOS 4, macOS

Apple is also expected to showcase the updated version of watchOS, that will come with refreshed features like Sleep Tracking. The new version is also said to offer more power to app developers. Apple is expected to bring new apps, new watch faces, new activity sharing, a new Breathe app, and a slew of performance improvements to the watchOS. Apple is also expected to add new sports types to the Workout app.

On the other hand, Apple hasn t made big changes to macOS in years apart from its name. But the macOS will likely be getting new features with much likely inside the Apple-made apps like Mail. Siri was introduced last year and this year we can expect third-party support.

Siri Speaker

Apple is said to be developing an Amazon Echo-like smart home speaker that features Siri. Siri speaker is something very similar to the Amazon Echo, with rumors suggesting it will play music, respond to voice commands and queries, and control smart home products. Facial recognition could be an included feature in Siri Speaker, which is said to allow the device to detect which member of the house is in the room and adjust accordingly. It is also said to come with integration with a variety of third-party apps. It may also include sensors for measuring a room’s acoustics and adjusting audio levels accordingly. However, keeping Apple’s past record in mind, we suggest you take this information with a grain of salt, as Apple doesn’t really launch harware products at WWDC.
