Fujifilm has launched its latest square-style analog instant camera in India, called the Instax Square SQ6. The company has priced the latest instant camera at Rs 9,999, and it will be compatible with all square format films. The camera comes with “Automatic exposure adjustment” feature, which gets activated when the user presses the shutter button. The camera detects the ambient light of the environment to provide the required shutter speed along with flash intensity. The company claims that users will be able to capture the subjects and the background “vividly and clearly”.
Fujifilm has also added a selfie mode in the Instax Square SQ6 where the camera adjusts the focal length of photos, and the brightness “to the ideal level” for selfies. Similar to the selfie mode on its previous Instax offerings, Fujifilm has added a “selfie-shot mirror” attachment along with the camera so that users can get an idea about the frame of the image. The camera also comes with tripod hole at the bottom along with a timer so that users can set it on a tripod for taking group photos. The camera comes with a number of new modes with the first one being the “double exposure mode” where the camera overlaps and combines two photos to create a single image when the user presses the shutter button twice.
Watch: Honor 10 First Look
Other modes include the “Macro Mode” where the user can shoot “short-range” images up to a minimum distance of up to 30cm, and “Landscape Mode” where users can take long-range landscape images. Fujifilm has also given three flash color modes with orange, green and purple colors so that users can experiment with the images by changing the overall color of the photos.
Haruto Iwata, the Managing Director of Fujifilm India issued a statement on the launch stating, “Our Instax range is a unique product which has come a long way since its launch 10 years ago. The Sales Volume Trend for Instax has crossed 7.7 Million units globally in FY 2017 which clearly indicates its success worldwide. We are very excited to welcome the all-new SQ6 with a host of versatile functions.”
