FujiFilm has launched the X100S and X20 premium compact cameras in India for Rs 74,999 and Rs 39,999. Notably, the X100S is the successor to the famed X100, and it boasts of the world’s fastest auto-focus of 0.08 seconds. The X20 on the other hand features the high-precision lens of the X10 and improves upon the performance of the aforementioned camera. The X100S has a 16.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, which is a proprietary FujiFilm sensor. It is known for its unique, highly randomized color filter arrangement and FujiFilm claims that this way the performance is comparable to full-frame sensors. It has built-in phase detection, a hybrid AF mode which can be switched to a Contrast AF. It uses a hybrid Viewfinder, that combines both an optical and an electronic viewfinder. The X20 also has a X-Trans CMOS II sensor, but this time it combines a newly developed advanced optical viewfinder that shows real time shooting data. It has a 12-megapixel sensor and has phase detection. It comes with a F2.0-F2.8 manual barrel zoom lens that has an optical zoom of 4x.
