Remember how Apple gave away a bunch of details about the iPhone X in an early version of the HomePod firmware? Samsung has ended up doing something similar. The latest leaks for the upcoming Galaxy S9 is courtesy Samsung itself.

First discovered by XDA, in the most recent update for Samsung’s music creation app Soundcamp, some new images have been added that depict the app running on a Galaxy S8-like smartphone, which however, has a noticeably thinner bottom bezel. The design is pretty much in line with all the rumors that we have been seeing about the likely design of the Galaxy S9 duo.

Beside this bit of leak, there is also some indirect hint that comes from Samsung’s way. With the launch of the Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+, Samsung has sent across some good news about the next Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S9.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 duo have the fingerprint sensor placed under the single-lens camera, a centrally located position that will surely be more comfortable to use. The flash, meanwhile, is positioned to the right of the camera module. It sure looks like Samsung learned its lesson the hard way and it’s adapting accordingly.

Now, here is the good news, with the most latest production by Samsung seeing this design, it’s very likely the same camera and fingerprint sensor design will be used in other Samsung phones, including the S9 and Note 9 flagships of 2018.
