Gionee is rumored to launch a new smartphone, dubbed F6L. Specifications of the smartphone have been revealed ahead of an official announcement. The smartphone was recently spotted on Chinese certification website, TENAA. The listing only reveals specifications of the upcoming phone, while the images are still under the wraps. According to the listing, first spotted by Gizmochina, the Gionee F6L is expected to come with a 5.7-inch IPS HD+ display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. Keeping up with the current trend, the Gionee F6L might also feature an 18:9 display. Under the hood, the phone is likely to be powered by either a Snapdragon 430 or 435 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. The phone might come with 3GB and 4GB of RAM each paired with an internal storage of 32GB. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card. Armed with a 2,970mAh battery, the smartphone will come preinstalled with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and is likely to come loaded with Gionee s Amigo OS UI.
On the camera front, the smartphone is expected to sport a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensor at the back. Up front, there might be an 8-megapixel camera. It is likely to be available in color options like blue, gold and black.
The F6L is not the only phone Gionee is working on. Recently, the Gionee S11 was spotted online featuring 18:9 bezel-less display. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.01-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 2160 pixels. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core chipset paired with 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The Gionee S11 will have a total of four cameras two on the back and two on the front. According to reports, the smartphone will sport a pair of 16-megapixel dual cameras on the back, and a combination of 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel front cameras. The company has not yet revealed the launch date of the phone, but given the fact that the phone has been spotted on TENAA, it might hit the shelves soon.
