Gionee has launched its new smartphone, Gionee S6 Pro, in China today. Priced 1,999 Yuan (Rs 20,000 approximately), the smartphone is already up for sale in China. The smartphone comes with an all-metal body and is available in gold, silver and Rose Gold color options. Right now there is no word on the pricing or availability of the smartphone in other markets like India. The Gionee S6 Pro is the latest smartphone in the company’s ‘S’ series, and looks to be the successor to the Elife S6 smartphone, which launched in India earlier this year. In comparison with the Elife S6,the Gionee S6 Pro comes with some major improvements such as full HD display, more RAM and expandable storage. Gionee S6 Pro specifications, features: The smartphone comes with a 2.5D 5.5-inch full HD IPS display. It runs Amigo OS 3.2 based on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P10 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone has 64GB of internal storage, and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD slot.
For photography, the smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. For connectivity, the smartphone supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB Type-C port. It is powered by a 3,130mAh battery, which the company claims to deliver up to 38.6 hours of talk time.
