Back in June, Gionee launched the Elife E8 in China, and nearly four months later it is finally set to arrive in India. Gionee today sent out media invites for an event on October 8, where it is expected to launch its flagship smartphone.
The invite doesn’t mention the flagship smartphone, but does give a subtle hint towards what the company plans on launching. The invite reads, ‘Block your date for some GR8 news. A new phone launch and a big entry into e-commerce’. It is not only the Elife E8 that is expected to be the talking point, but also the fact that Gionee India could start selling its smartphones online.
Gionee Elife E8 specifications and features: It flaunts a 6-inch WQHD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 490ppi, and is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek MT6795 64-bit octa-core processor paired with IMG G620 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
