Xiaomi is expected to launch a new smartphone in India on the same day, which could be the Mi Note 3. Launched alongside the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 in September, the Mi Note 3 will sit above the current mid-tier range which includes the Xiaomi Mi A1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in positioning, and is expected to cost around Rs 20,000 or more if it is indeed launched. Rumors point to this device based on a tweet by Manu Kumar Jain which teases a selfie-centric smartphone to be launched. The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 comes with a 16-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera setup at the rear with two 12-megapixel sensors, which falls in line with the selfie-centric positioning of the device that’s set to launch.
