Google is 20 years-old, and the company is taking everyone on a nostalgic trip with a video doodle on its homepage. “Today’s video Doodle takes a stroll down memory lane by exploring popular searches all over the world throughout the last two decades,” Google writes on its blog.

“Twenty (ish) years ago, two Stanford PhD students launched a new search engine with a bold mission to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. Though much has changed in the intervening years—including now offering Search in more than 150 languages and over 190 countries—Google is still dedicated to building products for everyone,” the blog adds.

Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, which actually started off as a research project while they were students at the Stanford University. In 1996, the two struck a partnership, and built a search engine that used links to determine the importance of individual pages on the World Wide Web.

Since then, Google has been our go-to place when we need to search any or everything on the internet. Today’s doodle celebrates this feat by highlighting the search trends across different years. These include searches for the best dance moves, food to eat, how to take a selfie, information about planets or languages, and much more.

On this occasion, Google is also thanking all the users for helping make the company what it is today. “So whether you’ve searched for the status of your favorite object orbiting the sun, the latest on the world’s biggest events, or how to impress on the dance floor:
