Google Docs is the perhaps the most popular web-based word processor and now Google has just tweaked a tinsy bit that will make it even more popular. Google has added a a text input tool that now allows users to type in Hindi, Russian and Chinese.
With the phonetic input method selected, one can type the phonetic spelling of a word using Latin characters. The input tool will provide you with a numbered list of word choices. One can choose a word from the list by clicking on it, navigating the list with your keyboard arrows and pressing Enter to select a word, or by typing the number next to the word.
With the keyboard input tool, virtual keyboard will appear on the screen that allows one to punch in the characters. One can even set-up the physical keyboard to mirror the virtual keyboard, so that non-latin characters can typed in easily.
