Google has changed the look of its homepage, something that used to be very rare till Google introduced Google+. Now the moment one logs into www.Google.com, one is welcomed with the Google bar floating on the top with a Gmail sign-in option on the top right hand corner and a Google apps/services drop down menu on the top left corner. With the addition of the Google Bar one has access to Google+, Google Search, Google Images, Google Maps, YouTube, News, Gmail, Docs and this menu can be further expanded to reveal Calendar, Books, Photos, Reader and Translate. Apart from the addition of the Google bar the homepage remains more or less the same with the signature Google Search bar prominently reflected in the middle but nonetheless the Google homepage has not gone through such a dramatic change in the last ten years. Besides this integration of the Google Bar on the Google homepage sits well with CEO Larry Page’s strategy of solidly integrating and revamping all of Google’s marquee products.
