Google has sent out invites for an event on July 24 which will be hosted by Android and Chrome OS chief Sundar Pichai. So far little is known about Android 4.3 except for it supporting Bluetooth Smart which is a new low power mode for connected devices and a new camera app that we have already seen in the Google editions of the HTC One, and the Samsung Galaxy S4. Android 4.3 is also expected to retain the ‘Jelly Bean’ nomenclature. Also Read - Android 12 leak hints at a major design revamp, better privacy features and more
We can also expect some news regarding Chrome OS, considering Google has maintained radio silence about its web-based OS. Also Read - Top 7000mAh battery Android smartphones in India: Samsung Galaxy F62 and more on the list
Perhaps, we might get a glimpse at a new Nexus device. If rumors are anything to go by then we can expect an updated version of the Nexus 7 tablet that will have a higher resolution display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU. And if we are in luck, we might even see some shiny new Motorola smartphones.
In the meanwhile, one should just sit back and wait for July 24, as Sundar Pichai unveils the new stuff Google has been working on.
