Google for India 2018 Live Updates: Google Pay, Maps and more announcements expected

Google is hosting the fourth annual edition of 'Google for India'.

Google is hosting the fourth annual edition of its “Google for India” initiative today in New Delhi. The key speakers for the event include Rajan Anandan, Vice President, South East Asia & India, Caesar Sengupta, Vice President of Product Management, Gayathri Rajan, VP, Geo Monetization, Ken Tokusei, Product Management Director, and Pravir Gupta, Senior Engineering Director, Google Assistant.

With Google for India 2018, we are expecting Google to take the Next Billion Users (NBU) initiative further as well as have some key announcements around Google’s digital voice assistant for India. Last year, Google for India Next Billion Users initiative had seen the launch of Android Oreo (Go Edition) for the entry-level smartphones, as well as the official launch of Files Go.

The event will kick start at 11:00AM IST, and it will also be live streamed through Google India’s official YouTube channel. You can also follow this space to get minute by minute updates directly from the Google for India 2018 event.
