Gboard, the keyboard app from Google, has been updated with new features that will boost the app significantly on the Android platform. The latest update brings more effects to the custom GIF creator feature on the app, which was launched last month. You can now add new effects, as well as custom text overlays on GIFs that you create with Gboard. These custom GIFs can be shared on supported apps while typing directly on Gboard. As reported by Android Police, the new GIF effects allow you to add hearts as a frame, a window shade that opens to reveal the GIF you create with your phone’s camera, or a popcorn sticker on the screen. You can also add text to the GIF, which will let you further customize what you send. Also Read - Free Fire Max launch in October: Better graphics, minimum requirements, Firelink technology and more
Other features rolled out as part of the latest update include the ability to search stickers in 15 new languages, which makes the sticker search function more usable depending on the language you use on your phone. The most notably addition to the update is the addition of 28 new supported languages, which lets you use Gboard in these languages now. Some of these languages are fairly obscure and unlikely to benefit most users of Gboard, but it will help bring new users on board. Notably, Maharasthrian Konkani and Fijian Hindi are now supported as part of the new update.
