And with people turning to Google for information, the new Google News app will focus on three features keeping up with the latest news, understanding full story and supporting sources that you love. The new Google News app will feature top stories, local news and YouTube videos. The app will use reinforcement learning, a type of AI training technique to understand user behavior. There is also a new media format called Newscasts exclusive to Google News. There are four tabs for you, headlines, favorites and newsstand. There are 1,000 magazines includes, and a new feature called Subscribe with Google.
Google has built the app with 60 publishers from across the globe, and all your subscribed magazines will be linked with the Google Account, meaning it will be available across all devices. The updated app is rolling out to Android and iOS devices, and the web in 127 countries starting today. The app will be available to everybody by the end of next week.
