Google s Nexus 5 smartphone is most likely to get launched in India by the end of November, almost a month after its global unveiling. However, it is now available on preorder from Snapdeal in India, which is highlighting its expected launch to be in the fourth week of November. It seems that both LG and Google will be retailing the Nexus 5 in India as Google has already put it up on its Play Store under ‘coming soon’ and has priced it at Rs 28,999 for 16GB and Rs 32,999 for 32GB variants. In terms of features, the Nexus 5 comes with a noticeably better set of features than the Nexus 4 smartphone. It has a 4.95-inch full HD display, is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes in two variants – 16GB and 32GB – and does not have a microSD card slot, which was also missed on the Nexus 4. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with OIS, and comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0.
On the software front, it runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat version, which is the latest Android version and has debuted with this smartphone.
For those interested in buying this phone, Snapdeal is offering this phone on easy EMI schemes varying from 3 months to 12 months depending up on a consumer s choice, and is also giving cash on delivery option.
