The HTC made Google Nexus 9 tablet went on sale in India back in December last year via Amazon India, priced at Rs 28,990. However, today buyers would be able to snap up the tablet at a lower price. As a part of the Amazon India’s Happy Hour Sale that starts at 2:00PM today, the HTC-built tablet will be available at a special price. At the time of filing the story, there is no word on the special pricing. The tablet however is mentioned under upcoming deals, and the price will be revealed at 2:05PM. Also mentioned under the upcoming deals are the Nokia Lumia 1320, and the Acer Iconia W3-810 tablet among others.
The Nexus 9 announced back in October last year is the successor to the Nexus 7 (2013), and flaunts a 8.9-inch display with 2048 1536-pixel resolution at 4:3 aspect ratio, and is powered by a 2.3GHz Nvidia Tegra K1 dual-core processor paired with Kepler DX11 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
On the camera front, it has an 8-megapixel protruding rear camera, and 1.6-megapixel front facing camera. The tablet also features a 6,700mAh battery, which according to the company is good enough to last up to 9.5 hours on a single charge, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
