Google is bringing its popular Google Now Cards from handheld devices to Chrome for desktops, enabling users to unify Cards from their smartphones, tablets to computers running Windows and Mac, and Chromebooks too. The functionality was earlier available in beta for testing purposes but is now available for all. Google says it is rolling it out to all users over the next few weeks. Users signed into Google Now on their smartphones and tablets, can get the same notifications (Google Now Cards) on their desktop browser Chrome, provided they are signed in with the same Google account on the desktop too. Google Now Cards include useful information like weather, sports, anniversary and birthday reminders, and traffic updates.
