Google revamped its paid cloud storage solution as Google One in May, and just last month at ‘Google for India‘ conference in New Delhi, the company said it will launch subscription model for India as well in coming weeks.
The Google One storage plans will start from Rs 130 and go up to Rs 19,500 a month. Now with the Google One pricing for the Indian market, consumers can get basic 100GB plan under Google One at Rs 130 per month. The 200GB plan is priced at Rs 210 per month.
During the launch in May, Google had increased the existing 1TB plan to offer 2TB at same price. In India, the plan is priced at Rs 650 per month. Google is also offering 10TB, 20TB and 30TB plans in India as well. These are priced at Rs 6,500, Rs 13,000 and Rs 19,500 per month respectively.
Google is offering free 2 months of subscription on select annual 12-month pricing plans. Consumers can purchase 12-month Google One storage of 100GB, 200GB, and 2TB to save two months money. Users will need to add money to their Google Play Store account first to purchase the subscription.
The interesting thing to note here is that Google One users will be able to share their storage with up to five family members so that everyone gets their private storage space.
