For the past few months, we’ve been hearing rumors and seeing leaks about Google’s alleged Pixel 3 ‘Lite’ smartphone. As the name suggests, the device would be a mid-range smartphone. It’s expected to have slightly less-capable hardware specifications, but the same class-leading cameras as Google’s flagship Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL flagship devices. Now, a bunch of renders have given us the best possible look at not just the Pixel 3 ‘Lite’, but also its sibling, the Pixel 3 XL ‘Lite’.

The information comes courtesy of the ever-reliable leakster OnLeaks, who has collaborated with 91Mobiles for high-resolution renders of what could be Google’s upcoming ‘affordable’ Pixel 3 duo. Going by the renders (and the accompanying video), it’s easy to see that there are quite a few visible differences between the regular and ‘Lite’ Pixels. The biggest difference is that unlike the Google Pixel 3 XL, there’s no hideous notch on Google Pixel 3 XL ‘Lite’. Also, even though both smartphones are seen with sizeable top and bottom bezels, there’s only a single speaker on the ‘Lite’ variants. In comparison, both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have stereo speakers.

Even more interesting is that both ‘affordable’ Pixels are not just shown with a single front-facing lens, but also a 3.5mm audio port. Of course, the USB Type-C port is there as well.

As far as the overall design is concerned, the Google Pixel 3 ‘Lite’ and Google Pixel 3 XL ‘Lite’ appear to be largely identical to the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

Talking about hardware, the Pixel 3 ‘Lite’ is expected to have a 5.5-inch display, while the Pixel 3 XL ‘Lite’ may arrive with a 6-inch display. The smartphones are likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 SoC, although nothing is confirmed at the moment.
