Google is all set to launch the next generation Pixel devices on October 9, and the search giant has already started teasing the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL smartphones through various micro-sites. Just last week, Google posted a “Coming soon” teaser page on its Japanese site hinting at three possible color options for the upcoming flagship smartphones. But it seems a fourth color option might also take center stage at the launch event.

The fourth color option has been discovered by a Twitter user in Google’s website source code. The color scheme shows peach-colored text and a very pale pink background with black/green accents, although the Google code has listed it as ‘Pink’.

The source code essentially had three themes working for the teaser. The first one with white background and green accents is referred to as “green”. The second one with black ground is named “black”, while the third one hints at a mint color, although it is referred as “blue” in the source code found by 9to5Google.

Google has been rather creative with Pixel phone’s color scheme with names like ‘Clearly White’, ‘Just Black’ and more, so it’ll be interesting to see what Google names all the variants this time around. The comapany officially rolled out invites for the October 9 launch event.

The last listing page on the Google Store for the Pixel 3 mentioned a huge “3” on the lines of the official media invite. The search giant sent out press invites for October 9 event with the “I <3 NY” phrase in the form of an animated GIF. The ‘Made by Google‘ event on October 9 is happening at Spring Studios, New York. The event will kick off at 11:00AM ET (8:30PM IST).
