Google’s anticipated Pixel 3 XL is rumored to come with 6.7-inch screen and 3430mAh battery. A recent hands-on video revealed a deeper notch than the normal trend. Now, the similar notch design phone – alleged Google Pixel 3 XL – has been spotted by MobileSyrup reader in public transit in Toronto.
The alleged hands-on image of Google Pixel 3 XL with WhatsApp in use shows off the similar deep notch as the production variant video leak. Other than that, the phone can be seen carrying a front firing speaker grill at the bottom of a huge display, which could be same as the rumored 6.7-inch screen.
The previous video posted online suggested the smartphone to be the production variant of the Google Pixel 3 XL. The video showed similar frontal design of the phone and a retail box with all the accessories. The biggest surprise in that video was the inclusion of ‘Pixel Buds’-style wired USB Type-C headphones. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL did not come with headphones in the box.
Other accessories seen in the video included a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone dongle, a USB Type-C to USB Type-C charging cable, a USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter, and the power adapter that might support Qualcomm’s latest QuickCharge system.
In terms of specifications, the Pixel 3 XL is likely to feature a 1440p+ display, and may be powered by the Snapdragon 845 CPU. It is expected to get 4GB/6GB of RAM, and will most likely run Google’s stock Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
As for the launch, the leaks so far indicate that the third-generation Pixel smartphones will be announced on October 4 for the third straight year.
