As it was mostly anticipated, Google is hosting an event on October 9 and it would unveil third generation flagship Pixel series of smartphones and more on that day. Google has officially sent out press invites for October 9 event with “I <3 NY” phrase animation gif.
The ‘Made by Google‘ event on October 9 is happening at Spring Studios, New York. The event will kick off at 11:00AM ET (8:30PM IST).
In previous weeks, almost everything about upcoming Google Pixel smartphones have been leaked online. The anticipated Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have been leaked online countless times, giving us a pretty clear idea of what the two Google flagships will look like.
The Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL design has been leaked in its full glory, thanks to several hands-on photos, few unboxing videos, and even reviews from a missing batch of units from production.
The most recent leak of Google Pixel 3 XL was when someone left “a pre-production unit” at the back of a Lyft ride. Even recently, the two smartphones – Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL – received certification in Taiwan. The National Communications Commission (NCC) certification listing spotted with model number G013A and G013C, respectively.
According to leaks, the back of upcoming Google Pixel 3 will look similar to the larger Pixel 3 XL. The front panel of smaller variant Pixel 3 is tipped to come with a ‘regular’ 18:9 display, whereas the Pixel 3 XL will be a big notch display device.

In addition to the design, most of the specs of the Google Pixel 3 have also been confirmed. The alleged Google Pixel 3 will come with a 2,915mAh battery. It’ll also have a larger (compared to Pixel 2) 5.5-inch display, but the extra tall aspect ratio will ensure the smartphone’s fairly easy to use with one hand. The smartphone will most certainly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM, and run stock Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box.
