By now, we already know that Google is gearing up to launch two new smartphones at its October 4 event. Google is also expected to end the Nexus lineup and go with Pixel moniker instead. Based on the reports and leaks that we have come across so far, the new Google smartphones will be called Pixel and Pixel XL, and HTC would be making them. Google has also started its marketing campaign, with mysterious Google ads cropping up across cities in the US. After recently coming across leaked renders and live photos, we now have 360-degrees render based on a factory CAD, courtesy of reliable leaker, @OnLeaks. The 360-degrees render shows off the Pixel XL from all four sides. We can see metal frame with chamfered edges, the stereo speaker setup at the bottom along with USB Type-C port, power button and volume rocker on the right panel, 3.5mm audio port on the top, and SIM card slot on the left panel. In the video we can also see the back of the device with camera module and LED flash, the circular fingerprint scanner, top half covered with glass and lower half covered with metal.
The leakster has also ousted dimensions of the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. The Google Pixel smartphone measures 143.8mm x 65.9mm x 7.3mm (bottom) and 8.5 mm (top), whereas the Pixel XL measures 154.7mm x 75.7mm x 7.3mm at top and 8.5mm at the bottom.
