Google has just sent out invites for an event on September 29 in San Francisco. Engadget reports that the company has not revealed what it is going to announce, but has confirmed that ‘some tasty treats are on the way. Google is going to announce the two Nexus smrtphones made by LG and Huawei by the end of this month. Now, according to Droid Life the two smartphones will be called Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. Citing a credible anonymous source, the report states that the LG-made smartphone will be called Nexus 5X, while the Huawei-made smartphone is expected to be called Nexus 6P. A lot has been written about the two smartphones, and as far as the big Huawei Nexus 6P is concerned, it is expected to flaunt a 5.7-inch QHD display running at a resolution of 2560 1440 pixels. It is powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. Also on offer is 32GB of onboard storage. On the photography front, the smartphone is equipped with 12-megapxiel rear camera with support for 4K video recording, and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
From what we have come across so far, the LG Nexus 5X will feature a 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB internal storage. In addition to the aforementioned camera, the smartphone is also expected to feature a 2,700mAh battery, and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
As per a recent report, the LG Nexus 5X 16GB variant is expected to be priced around $399 (approximately Rs 26,000), while the 32GB variant is expected to cost $449 (approximately Rs 29,300).
