According to the leakster, the LG-made smartwatch will sport a 1.65-inch (280x280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of roughly 240ppi and includes features like 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. As we reported before, Google s smartwatch is said to be designed as an accessory rather than an independent device. In other words, it will be dependent on an Android smartphone to function. Google s philosophy behind the smartwatch is that you shouldn t need to take your phone out to see who sent a text, or an email among others. The smartwatch will instead display Google Now like notifications in conjunction with your smartphone and the UI is said to be very gesture-driven.
