From the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Burj Khalifa in Dubai to Mt. Fuji in Japan, Google’s Street View teams go around world mapping iconic places so you can visit them from the comfort of your couch. Now this world-trotting team has made a brief stop at Hyderabad to climb and capture the sights of the iconic Charminar.
Built in 1591 AD, Charminar is as important and said to be equally recognized as the Taj Mahal in Agra. This 66 feet tall monument has four towers with a dome on the top of each of them. Tourists can climb up to about 56 meters to each of the minarets to see the beautiful sights of Hyderabad.
The Google team has climbed to the very top and clicked beautiful panoramic photos from the Charminar. You can walk or climb the Charminar yourself in the map below.
