Today is April 1 and tech companies love to play pranks on people on this day. Google is one of the first ones to get into the mood and has a barrage of pranks on April Fool’s Day.

One of its first pranks is to transform its Maps into a good old Pac-Man game. The hack essentially lets users turn any part of a city into the pixilated board game. The roads turn into the tracks where you can control the yellow bob and run from the ghosts. The hack also has the iconic music to really get you into the mood.

You can play Pac-Man on your desktop as well as the mobile app, and Google Maps’ support page also suggests the best locations to play the game.

Additionally, the company also launched the Google Panda at a fake launch event. Google Japan’s YouTube page has a video of the launch event, wherein Chris Yerga, vice president of engineering, introduces the company’s latest take on voice-enabled search. The company is trying to make it as real as possible and has made the Panda available in multiple sizes — Google Panda 5 and Google Panda 6.

Furthermore, Google has also launched a backward version of its search page, accessible via com.google. As seen in the screenshot below, the search page is backward, and every search result, including the Google cards are backwards.
