After yesterday’s disco-themed doodle, which bid the year 2013 adieu, Google has released yet another doodle today. The latest doodle continues with the retro themed design. Also Read - Google celebrates Hollywood actor, singer and dancer Shirley Temple with animated Doodle
The animated doodle is very similar to yesterday’s doodle, albeit with a slight change. The numbers 2, 0, and 1 are still seen dancing; only now instead of 3, the digit four has entered the dance floor (signifying the start of the new year). The digit 3 has been pushed to the side and is shown panting as if it has had a long year. Also Read - Google celebrates Earth Day 2021 with a new animated Doodle
Similar to yesterday’s doodle, we can see two big speakers above the dancing digits and the word Google, with one of the ‘O’ represented by a rotating disco ball. When you hover the mouse over the doodle, a message— ‘Happy New Year!’— pops out.
Again, below the doodle and the search bar there is the message from Google— “What did the world search for this year?” followed by “Remember the moments of 2013”, which is linked to the Google Zeitgeist 2013 page.
