In wake of the recent Paris attacks, the war between terrorists and hackers is quickly heating up. Over the past couple of days, hackers group called Anonymous declared an open war on ISIS. They also started leaking details of suspected websites and social media accounts of ISIS. In return, ISIS hit back at Anonymous by calling them idiots. Taking things a notch up, Anonymous has released three guides to help anyone wanting to trace and hack ISIS accounts. Urging people to participate in their biggest operation called #OpParis, the guides offer instructions to identify and take down ISIS related social media accounts and websites. According to IBTimes, the instructions include a NoobGuide, for those who wish to learn about hacking regardless of their computer skills. Other two guides include a Reporter guide that explains the process on how to setup bot accounts and a Searcher, to look for ISIS websites. An Anonymous member who posted these guides to IRC said, There should be plenty of work to keep you occupied so get going. If you wish to submit anything of value, place your findings on ghostbin.com and share to the link to one of the channel operators and we can talk about what to do next.
These guides offer detailed instructions to perform a cyber attack against ISIS websites that use MITM (Man in the Middle) and DDoS attacks. Find below to instructions to find ISIS-related websites as mentioned by Anonymous, courtesy of IBTimes.
Step One: Windows users can get Python from www.python.org/downloads/
Step Two: Open Command Prompt in Windows (or Terminal in Mac) and type python (without quotes)
Step Three: On your web browser (Chrome preferred), head over to this URL https://ghostbin.com/
It will display some search terms related to ISIS and their content, which will also help narrow down the search results to specific terms.
Step Four: Copy the strings from the above page, paste it into the Terminal and press Enter.
Step Five: From the list, select around three strings. For instance, we ll go with 3+28+46.
Step Six: After choosing the strings, type this in the terminal without quotes print(str3+str28+str46) , hit enter and copy the results.
Step Seven: Paste these results in www.google.iq to analyze them and translate the pages. Once translated, submit the valid ones to any of the Anonymous channel operators and they will deal with the information, accordingly.
