The Moto G comes with a special offer where users can get 50GB of additional Google Drive space for two years. This is in addition to the 15GB space everyone gets for default if they have a Google account. However, one does not get the additional space by just powering on the phone and configuring their Google account. The free 50GB Google Drive space has to be redeemed within 30 days of activating the Moto G. Only one user can get it on one Moto G (so you cannot reset the phone and configure another account to get additional space) and you can only get the offer once on one account, so even if you have two new Moto G units, you would be able to redeem it only once on one account. However, on the second device you can choose a different Google account and get the additional storage on that account. Before you begin, ensure you have configured the Google account on the phone to which you want to add the additional storage. The open the Drive app, which is pre-installed on the phone. After agreeing to the terms and conditions and following the small product tour, you will get the option to redeem. Clicking on the Redeem button will give you the option to select the Google account to which you want to add the additional storage. In case you had fired up the Drive app earlier and did not redeem the free space at that time, you can click on the app menu and select the ‘Product Tour’ option. After the brief demo of Google Drive, you would get the redeem option. A reminder – you can redeem it only once from any Moto G and you can redeem it only once on any Google account irrespective of the number of Moto G units you might have.
