Last night, Apple launched its much-awaited and talked-about iPhones 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. One of the most discussed points is the removal of the 3.5mm audio jack, which will force you to use either the bundled EarPods or connect your headphones via the Lightning-3.5mm adapter. Alternatively, you can also opt to buy a pair of AirPods that will be going on sale in India for Rs 15,400. Clearly not everyone was pleased with the cold turkey manner of the audio jack’s removal, and so much drama, a company called Nicer decided to take a dig at Apple and it is a hilarious take. Nicer, a design and development studio took the pains to come up with a product called Apple Plug , which will hide the archaic 3.5mm audio jack on the older iPhones. It is a wacky way of “upgrading” your iPhones to a brand-new iPhone 7. As you can expect, the Apple Plug is meant to be inserted into the 3.5mm audio jack and styled in a way so that it hides the audio jack. Looking at the website, one would think that the product is actually for sale, and it had me fooled for once. Listed on Product Hunt, the guys at Nicer did an incredible job by making the product wholly Apple. And as you scroll down, the company behind this reveals it as a parody of the good folks at Apple.
