Apple never really caught on to the concept of dual-SIM slots. So for all of us who like to keep our private and professional lives separate, we look at other smartphones (or another iPhone?) for being connected. However, a new little device created by SIMore called the X-Triple 6 is here just to solve the problem. This essentially allows you to install multiple SIMs on your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, without the need to carry around another smartphone. The X-Triple 6 allows you to operate up to three SIMs on the iPhone 6 (nano SIM, micro SIM and mini SIM). There is a ribbon with two SIM trays for your micro and mini SIM slots, and the nano one that already exists inside the iPhone 6. The ribbon extends out of the iPhone SIM trays and there is an elaborate tutorial that shows you how exactly you can install the three SIMs into the smartphone. The SIMs do not work simultaneously, and you will have to switch between cards as only one network at a time works on the iPhone 6. You can switch between SIMs by going to Settings -> Phone -> Systems Application and then changing your SIM preference. Also Read - Face ID to reach Macs, all iPhones and iPads in a couple of years
As for the protruding ribbon that hangs outside with the other two SIM trays, SIMore has specially designed a back cover for this purpose. It strategically even has slots to keep your extra SIMs, and secures the delicate ribbon at the back of your iPhone 6!
The SIMore X-triple 6 Triple SIM Adapter is compatible only with the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, and retails on at $49.90, but with Indian shipping cost it goes up to $99.80 (approximately Rs 6,600).
