As per the numerous rumors circulating online, the Mi 5 is turning out to be a monster of a device. It is expected to feature a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 1440 pixels) display, and will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU. Word out of the rumor mills is that Xiaomi could also take the wraps off two more devices the successors of the Redmi Note, and Mi Pad. The Redmi Note successor, on the other hand, is expected to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display and a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, or MediaTek MT6595 chipset. Additionally, it is also likely to feature 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, dual-SIM card slots, and a 3,500mAh battery. The Mi Pad 2, on the other hand, is rumored to have the same 7.9-inch screen, 2GB of RAM, but a chipset from Intel this time.

The Chinese company ended the year with a bang having announced a $1.1 billion funding round that puts the valuation of the company at a whopping $45 billion. It has already kick started the year by launching the Redmi 2, which as the name suggests, is the successor to the Redmi 1S.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Redmi 2 sports a 4.7-inch 720p display, 64-bit 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
