If Google plans to stick to its usual launch schedule, we still have around six weeks before Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL go official. However, in the previous weeks, the latter has leaked online countless times, giving us a pretty clear idea of what the bigger Pixel 3 will look like.
A new Google Pixel 3 XL leak has now surfaced on the web, and it’s so massive that there’s nothing left to imagination. We’re talking high-resolution product shots, hands-on photos, and entire contents of the retail box.
The leak is from multiple sources (a website called Rosetked, and a Twitter user going by the handle @wylsacom), as reported by Phone Arena.
Talking about the product shots and hands-on photos, they confirm that the Pixel 3 XL will indeed have a huge notch, perhaps the deepest on any Android smartphone so far. Apart from the earpiece (which most likely doubles up as one of the two front-firing speakers), the notch houses a front-facing camera, and an IR scanner for facial recognition. While the side bezels are quite thin, there’s a sizable chin that houses the second front-firing speaker.
Coming to the back, the design is largely identical to the current Pixel 2 XL, albeit with a slightly smaller glass inset. The back has a single rear camera (with LED flash), a circular fingerprint sensor, and Google’s ‘G’ logo at the bottom.
It’s worth mentioning that the product shots show the Pixel 3 XL with AIDA64, a system information app. It mentions the Pixel 3 XL as having a display with a resolution of 1080×2960 pixels, and a 3,430mAh battery.

Then there’s the retail package, with all its contents shown in full glory. Unless Google decides to change the contents of the box based on region, the Pixel 3 XL will come with a wall adapter, a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-A to USB-C adapter, and interestingly, a pair of wired Pixel Buds.
Other hands-on photos reveal that the smartphone has its power button and volume rocker on the right. At the bottom, there’s a USB Type-C port but no 3.5mm audio port, just like the Pixel 2 XL.
While we’re still waiting for Google to unveil Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL officially, at this point, it won’t matter even if they directly put up product pages online. It’s a good thing we still have Pixel 3 to look for!
