There is no timeline yet, on when the HTC One flagships are getting upgraded to Android Lollipop. However, there are many leaks that point towards how Lollipop would look running on HTC One (M8). The latest one comes from LlabTooFer, who has put up videos of what the One (M8) would look like with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop overlaid with HTC’s Sense 6.0 running on it. The video shows the new notification panel and the search bar in the settings menu. It also shows how the device looks like in Sense’s ‘Easy Mode’ that makes the phone easier and basic for novice users. You also see hints of the Material Design reflecting in the interface. There is also the new ‘Accessibility’ feature in the Settings menu. The feature allows you to change color contrast, correction and color inversion in your display screen. As mentioned earlier, HTC has not made any announcement on the Lollipop roll out for the HTC One (M8). However, the company had mentioned that they would roll it out within three months of Lollipop’s official announcement. Given that information, HTC should make an announcement any time in January.
