Hike messaging app has launched new animated sticker packs to celebrate tomorrow’s Ganesh Chaturthi festival in India. These sticker packs will be will be available in Hike app from September 12 in Marathi, Hindi and English. Hike users can download these to wish friends and family in a fun, colourful and traditional manner during the 10-day festival, company said in a press statement. Hike’s new animated stickers for Ganesh Chaturthi highlight the ceremonies and visarjan of this holy festival. These packs include popular phrases from Ganesh Utsav, showcase the popular Mumbai and Pune pandals, and all eight Ganpatis in Ashtavinayak in eight stickers. Users will need to navigate to the sticker store in Hike messenger’s chat option. These sticker packs are available on both Android and iOS platforms of Hike app.
The Hike messenger app was launched in 2012 and it reached over 100 million user base mark in January 2016. Later same year, the company raised $175 million at a valuation of $1.4 billion. The fourth round of funding was led by Tencent and Foxconn.

The company recently announced partnership with Ola. The Hike app integrated the cab aggregator s service into its messaging platform. Users can now book Ola cabs or autos across 110 cities in the country without ever leaving the messaging app. They can also pay through Hike Wallet or in cash. You will have all cab options available with the integration including Ola Auto, Micro, Mini, Prime, Prime Play, Prime SUV, and Ola Lux.
