Soon after HMD Global launched the Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 smartphones, rumors about the Nokia 5.1 Plus started to surface. The alleged smartphone was also recently spotted on TENAA listing, revealing some of its key specifications and features. Now, the Nokia 5.1 Plus has received Bluetooth certification too, which could be an early hint of its imminent launch.
Spotted by NokiaPowerUser, five variants of the Nokia 5.1 Plus have received Bluetooth certification. The certification listing reveals model numbers – TA-1102, TA-1105, TA-1108, TA-1112, and TA-1120. Out of these models, the TA-1105 has been certified in Malaysia last week, whereas the other variants are likely to be meant for different markets.

While the launch date hasn’t been announced by Nokia yet, it is expected that the company would announce both the Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus in India at the same time. The company has already started teasing an event in India on its social media, and is also running a contest to allow few lucky winners to attend the launch event.
Based on the TENAA listing, the smartphone is expected to come with a glass back finish to, but don’t expect wireless charging as it will be a mid-range smartphone. Based on the information available, the smartphone will feature a 5.86-inch HD+ display running at a resolution of 720×1520 pixels, and a notch. It will be powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz, but there is no word on whether it is a MediaTek or a Qualcomm chipset.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus is expected to come with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, or 4GB / 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variants. In the photography department, the listing reveals dual-rear camera setup comprising of dual 13-megapixel sensors. But there is no word on whether the other sensor comes with a telephoto lens or it is a monochrome sensor. While rest of the details are unknown, we will have to wait until Nokia makes the smartphone official.
