Nokia 7.1 up for pre-orders in India; here’s everything you need to know

The mid-range Nokia smartphone was launched in India last week.

Having originally unveiled Nokia 7.1 back in October at an event in London, HMD Global now brought the smartphone to the Indian. The smartphone is set to go on sale in the country from December 7, but it’s already up for pre-order. In case you’re planning to buy Nokia 7.1, here’s everything you need to know.

Nokia 7.1: Pre-order details, price, and offers

In case you wish to pre-order the Nokia 7.1, you can do so by heading over to Nokia’s India website, and paying the full amount for the smartphone. Confirmed orders will start shipping from December 7, 2018.

Nokia 7.1 is priced at Rs 19,999. However, there are a couple of offers that you can avail. In case you’re a prepaid Airtel subscriber, you’ll get 1TB of data with the Rs 199 plan. If you’re a postpaid subscriber, you’ll get 120GB of additional data and free three-month Netflix subscription, provided you’re on the Rs 499 plan.

Nokia 7.1 features and specifications

A mid-range smartphone, Nokia 7.1 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone’s highlight is its 5.84-inch FullHD+ notched display, with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels, and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The ‘PureDisplay’ panel is HDR10+ compliant, and the smartphone itself can convert SDR content to HDR in real-time. Like majority of HMD Global’s smartphones, Nokia 7.1 is Android One-certified, and thus offers a stock Android experience and faster OS/security updates.

For imaging, Nokia 7.1 has a ZEISS-enhanced dual-lens camera system at the back, comprised of a 12-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens. There’s also an 8-megapixel lens up front for selfies and video calls. All standard connectivity options are included, with a 3,060mAh backing up the whole package.
