Honor 10, the flagship smartphone from the Chinese e-brand will launch globally today. The smartphone was launched in China last month and will now be extended to global markets. Ahead of its official launch, Honor has also confirmed that Honor 10 will be exclusively available on Flipkart in India and will go on sale starting midnight of May 16.
Honor 10 can be seen as the mid-range variant of Huawei’s more premium P20 smartphone. It features the design aesthetics of company’s premium offering but it is expected to be priced lower than the P20 smartphone. Honor 10 will be the successor to last year’s View10 and will compete directly with OnePlus 6, which will be officially launched at an event in London tomorrow. Huawei is the third largest smartphone market globally while Honor has managed to break into the top five in India. With Honor 10, it will be trying to compete with OnePlus, which remains the most popular brand in the mid-range premium segment.
