Honor 10 launch: How to watch livestream
Honor 10 global launch is set for tomorrow and will take place in London. The event is being held at the Old Billings Gate and is set to kickstart at 2PM BST, around 6.30PM in India. The event will be streamed live from London on Honor’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. The company is using the hashtag #BeautyInAI to promote the device.
Honor 10 Specifications, features and price
Unlike OnePlus 6, Honor 10 is not a new smartphone. It is already available for purchase in Honor’s home market China and tomorrow’s global launch will see the device being extended to other markets in Europe and Asia. The Honor 10 will be the most premium smartphone yet from the company and it borrows the exuberant design of Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.
It features an aluminum frame with glass on the front as well as rear. The smartphone was announced in four different colors – Mirage Purple, Mirage Blue, Magic night black, Gray gull. In UK and India, it could be offered only in two colors – Mirage Purple and Mirage Blue – which change their hue when you move the device or expose it to light beam. Another change over last year’s Honor View10 will be the notched display, which is similar to Huawei P20.
The Honor 10 will feature a 5.84-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and support a taller aspect ratio of 19:9. Despite the taller aspect ratio and notched display, the Honor 10 will retain a tiny chin at the bottom that will house the fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will be powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 970 SoC coupled with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and dedicated neural processing unit.
The Honor 10 comes in three different storage options with the base model getting 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There will also be a 6GB RAM variant with option for either 64GB or 128GB internal storage. There is, however, no support for expandable storage.

The Honor 10 also features dual rear camera system similar to Huawei P20 but both the sensors are stacked horizontally and drop the Leica branding. There is a primary 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 24-megapixel monochrome sensor. They support phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The Honor 10 also features a 24-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p video recording.
The Honor 10 runs EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It supports connectivity features including WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE. The smartphone is backed by a 3,400mAh battery and uses USB Type-C port for charging. The Honor 10 is a flagship device that will compete with OnePlus 6 and the choice will eventually come down to price.
