We have been hearing about Huawei launching the Honor 6X for a long time now. The smartphone made its way to Chinese regulatory website TENAA earlier this month. Surprisingly enough, the Honor 6X has been spotted on TENAA yet again revealing some more information about the upcoming smartphone. While details are scarce, reports claim that the smartphone could launch as early as the second week of October. Along with revealing some important information, Chinese regulatory TENAA also reveals what the upcoming Honor 6X will look like. At first glance, Huawei seems to have borrowed the design from Xiaomi s recently launched smartphones like Redmi Note 3. The image also reveals that the Honor 6X could boast a dual-camera setup at the back. Another thing that is very much visible is the fingerprint scanner placed right under the cameras. According to GizmoChina, the smartphone won t come with an all-metal design and the upper and lower end is said to be made of plastic.
Honor 6X specifications
As per TENAA, the Honor 6X bears the model number BLN-TL10. It is expected to come with a 5.5-inch display, most likely with a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood will be a Kirin 650 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. We can also expect 32GB onboard memory with an option to expand it using a microSD card.
TENAA also reveals a pair of 12-megapixel cameras placed at the back, while up front there will be a 2-megapixel selfie snapper. The smartphone will also pack a 3,340mAh battery.
According to Phonearena, the Honor 6X might be arriving on October 18. While there is no conformation on the same, some reports also claim that the smartphone will launch with a price tag of $200 which is Rs 13,300 approximately. The Honor 6X will be the successor to the Honor 5X. To recap, the Honor 5X flaunts a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB storage. The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. On the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop wrapped under EMUI 3.1.
