As expected, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has today launched two new smartphones in India. The Honor 7A is the more pocket-friendly of the two devices, and will be going on sale from May 29. The Honor 7C, on the other hand, will be going on sale from May 31.
Honor 7A, Honor 7C pricing and availability
The Honor 7A has been launched in only one variant (32GB+3GB) with a price tag of Rs 8,999. It will be available via Flipkart and Honor’s online store from May 29. The Honor 7C has been launched in two variants. The 32GB+3GB variant is priced at Rs 9,999, while the 64GB+4GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999. This smartphone will be going on sale via Amazon India and Honor’s online store from May 31. Buyers will be able to choose from black and gold color options.
The Honor 7A and Honor 7C were first launched in China earlier this year. Both smartphones feature contemporary features like tall 18:9 aspect ratio displays, dual cameras, and face unlock to name a few. Following is a more detailed look at the smartphones’ specifications and features.

Honor 7A specifications, features
The successor to last year’s Honor 6A flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440×720 pixels) IPS LCD display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core. As mentioned, there is 3GB of RAM, and 32GB internal storage on offer. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card.
For photography, the smartphone comes with dual cameras at the back. This setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor backed by AI-based features, and bokeh mode. For selfies, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel snapper accompanied by a soft selfie light.
For security, there is a fingerprint sensor placed at the back, as well as a face unlock feature. The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and GLONASS. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo wrapped under EMUI 8.0.

The Honor 7C flaunts a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440×720 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The internal storage is expandable with the use of a microSD card.
For photography, the device features a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary depth-sensing 2-megapixel sensor at the back. The setup allows users to shoot photos with DSLR-like depth effects. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor, but without a dedicated selfie flash.
For security there’s a fingerprint sensor, and a Face Unlock feature. The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. On the software front, the dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo wrapped under EMUI 8.0.
