Like all OTA updates, this one is also being rolled out in a phased manner, so it may take a while for all Honor 7X units across the world to get the update. In case you have the Honor 7X, you can manually check for the update under the System Update option of the smartphone s settings menu.
Launched late last year, Huawei s Honor 7X is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The mid-ranger has a 5.93-inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels, and a pixel density of around 407ppi. Even though the smartphone runs Android Nougat (with EMUI overlay) out-of-the-box, an update to Android Oreo is available.
