Late last year, Honor launched the 7X smartphone in India. It was one of Honor’s first smartphones to come with face unlock and AR lens feature. Launched with a starting price of Rs 12,999, the Honor 7X has now seen a price cut of Rs 1,000 for both of its variants.

The 32GB storage variant is now priced at Rs 11,999 after the price cut, whereas the 64GB variant will set you back by Rs 14,999. You can purchase the smartphone exclusively from Amazon India. The e-commerce site is also offering exchange discount of up to Rs 9,600, which can bring down the effective cost to Rs 2,399 for the 32GB variant, and Rs 5,399 for the 64GB variant. The Honor 7X features a 5.93-inch full HD+ resolution display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 659 octa-core SoC. The internal storage can be further expanded using a microSD card.
For shutterbugs, there is a dual camera setup at the back comprising of a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The camera allows users to shoot portrait photos with a blurred background. There is also a ‘Motion picture’ mode that is similar to ‘Live Photos’ on iPhones. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling.
To keep things ticking, the Honor 7X is armed with a 3,340mAh battery. With dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS connectivity options, the smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI 5.1 out-of-the-box. An update to Android 8 Oreo with EMUI 8 skin is now rolling out.
