Also included is a new AR lens mode for the front camera, which is somewhat like the face filters that we see on Snapchat. As you must have already guessed, the mode will allow users to add different effects and filters to their photos. This feature can be found in Camera -> Modes -> AR lens. Additionally, the update also comes with the Android security patch for January 2018. As reported by AndroidSoul, the patch is currently rolling out to units in China. There’s no word on when other markets will receive it, but with a bit of luck, we should see it in India and other countries within the next couple of weeks.
