It may not have a funky notched display or the color-changing glass back panel of the Honor 10, but last year’s Honor 8 Pro is still a very capable smartphone. And if you can get it for just Re 1, well, that’s like the deal of the century.
It may sound unbelievable, but you can actually get the Honor 8 Pro at just Re 1 as a part of the ‘Honor 8 Pro Super Sale’. The smartphone’s black color variant will be up for grabs on Honor India’s website at Re 1. The sale is set to begin today (August 14, 2018) at 11:30AM, and will continue till stocks last.
To stand the chance of grabbing an Honor 8 Pro at the super low price, you need to act quick. To get started, register/login to the Honor India’s online store (https://www.hihonor.com/in/index.html), and enter your address details. Once the sale starts, you need to click on the ‘Buy’ button as fast as you can (since stocks are bound to be limited). If you manage to add the smartphone to your shopping cart, proceed to make the online payment of Re 1. Once the payment is confirmed, the smartphone will be shipped to the default address saved under your profile.
Launched in April 2017, Honor 8 Pro is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The dual-SIM smartphone also has a (hybrid) expansion slot that can take up microSD cards of up to 256GB in size.

Honor 8 Pro has a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, and a pixel density of 515ppi. It runs Android Nougat out-of-the-box (upgradeable to Android Oreo), with Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 UI overlay baked on top.
For imaging, Honor 8 Pro has a dual-camera system at the back. There are two 12-megapixel sensors, with one shooting in color and other in monochrome. Up front, there’s an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.
Having all standard connectivity options (including USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio port), the Honor 8 Pro is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with fast-charging support.
