Honor recently launched the Honor 8 Pro in India for Rs 29,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon India starting July 13. The sale for Amazon Prime members will start tomorrow at 6PM and will go on till midnight of the July 11. Amazon India and Honor will be offering various introductory offers for Amazon Prime users. To start with, customers planning to buy the smartphone tomorrow can avail offers of up to Rs 1,100 from MakeMyTrip, BookMyShow and Swiggy. Apart from that, if you buy the Honor 8 Pro via your HDFC credit or debit card, you can get additional 15 percent cashback of up to Rs 2,000 cashback. Talking about the USP of the phone, there’s a dual-camera setup featuring a pair of 12-megapixel sensors. While one sensor captures in RGB, the other captures details in monochrome. It is worth noting that the camera functionality is similar to Honor 8. The rear camera setup with f/2.2 aperture further includes laser auto-focus, LED flash, and is capable of 4K video recording. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Honor has partnered GoPro for the launch of the smartphone. The partnership enables editing videos through Quik app. The app will come pre-installed in the smartphone.

The Honor 8 Pro features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels). Under the hood is Huawei’s Kirin 960 octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which users can expand to an additional 128GB using a microSD card. The Honor 8 Pro comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other connectivity options on the smartphone include dual-SIM (nano SIM + micro SIM) support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
