This year has been an extremely busy one for Honor, with the company launching smartphones in India left, right, and center. However, 2018 isn’t over yet, and the Huawei sub-brand is ready to bring another smartphone to the Indian shores.
A teaser has gone up on Amazon India’s website, signaling the arrival of Honor 8C. The smartphone will be an Amazon-exclusive, and launch on November 29 with an expected price of about Rs 15,000. Even though the full-page teaser highlights most of Honor 8C’s features, we already know just about everything about the smartphone. That’s because Honor 8C was already launched in China back in September.
Honor 8C is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 SoC, being the first smartphone to use the chipset. There’s also 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 256GB. The smartphone has a 6.26-inch HD+ notched display, with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. There’s Android 8.1 Oreo on-board, with Huawei’s EMUI 8.2 baked on top.
For imaging, Honor 8C features a dual-lens rear camera system. It’s comprised of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor, with the teaser mentioning that the camera system’s AI smarts allow it to take ‘spectacular’ pictures. There’s also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Talking about connectivity features, Honor 8C has everything from Wi-Fi to 3.5mm audio, as well as a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Backing the whole package is a 4000mAh battery, which Honor claims can last up to two days on a full charge. That said, there’s no fast-charging support.
